Greetings Everyone,

For years now, I have had great interest in hearing from people who experience out of body experiences.

About 18 years ago, I experienced very strange sensations while in a pre-sleep state, and felt paralyzed for a second and very scared for not being able to move. While I was laying on my stomach, I felt like I was being sucked out of my body and falling backwards (which would mean upwards as I was facing down). This really scared me and I immediately tried to move, only to find my whole body completely paralyzed. I finally jumped up, sitting on the bed and very scared.

I experienced this same sensation once or twice more within the next month and then it went away. I guess I was so terrified that I blocked it out. A couple of years later, I was told that what I was experiencing was the beginning of OBE's, and that if I had relaxed and just let it happened, I would have found myself standing next to my body.

Has anyone else here experienced this before? Please share your thoughts.

Regards,
Clara

Ive had a similar experience but i was wide awake and im sure it wasnt an OOBE. i woke up face down arms and legs spread out unable to move. my blanket on the floor. i could feel someone/thing walking on my bed up the right side step over my back and down the left side. then felt as if they jumped off and as soon as i heard the feet hit my bedroom floor i immediately regained my ability to move. i went downstairs and looked at the time (1:50am). i slept on the couch for the next several years following that incident. this
happened about 9 years ago.

That's interesting... Did you, at any point, feel like you were falling out of your body, or was it mostly the feeling of your body being paralyzed and the steps around you?
